Die Kunstgruppe Blood Brain Barrier aus dem Möckernkiez ist an diesem Wochenende Teil einer Ausstellung in Kladow.
Max schreibt dazu: Summer Vacation was conceived as part of a performance by the art collective thebloodbrainbarrier in Gleisdreieckpark in Berlin on August 2, 2025. The show took the movement, ‚What the Flowers in the Meadow Tell Me‘, from Mahler’s third symphony, and addressed the theme of animal/plant/human interaction and making a salad. Summer Vacation is a sculptural painting that incorporates masks, by Natascha Bohnert, used in the original show, in combination with ‚live-painting‘ and collage that utilizes, among other elements, nature material. Summer Vacation is once again on tour as part of the exhibition, TEXTUREN der ERINNERUNG II—Neukladow im Spiegel der Künste (19-21.09.25) whereit will continue to ‚evolve‘ during another outdoor performance of ‚What the Flowers in the Meadow Tell Me‘ on September 21, 2025 in Gutspark Neukladow at the Max Reinhardt Naturtheater at 14:00 o’clock. In addition to this, select sculptures and paintings by thebloodbrainbarrier will be on display at the Gutshaus Neukladow on all three days of the exhibition from 12:00-17:00 o’clock.
Übersetzung vom Automaten: Summer Vacation wurde am 2. August 2025 im Rahmen einer Performance des Kunstkollektivs thebloodbrainbarrier im Gleisdreieckpark in Berlin konzipiert. Die Show nahm den Satz „What the Flowers in the Meadow Tell Me“ aus Mahlers dritter Symphonie auf und thematisierte die Interaktion zwischen Tieren, Pflanzen und Menschen sowie die Zubereitung eines Salats. Summer Vacation ist ein skulpturales Gemälde von Natascha Bohnert, das Masken von Natascha Bohnert enthält, die in der Originalausstellung verwendet wurden, in Kombination mit „Live-Painting“ und Collagen, die unter anderem Naturmaterial verwenden. Summer Vacation ist im Rahmen der Ausstellung TEXTUREN der ERINNERUNG II – Neukladow im Spiegel der Künste (19.-21.09.25) wieder auf Tournee und wird sich am 21. September 2025 um 14:00 Uhr im Rahmen einer weiteren Freiluftaufführung von „What the Flowers in the Meadow Tell Me“ im Gutspark Neukladow im Max Reinhardt Naturtheater weiter „weiterentwickeln“. Darüber hinaus werden an allen drei Ausstellungstagen von 12:00-17:00 Uhr ausgewählte Skulpturen und Gemälde von thebloodbrainbarrier im Gutshaus Neukladow zu sehen sein.
